Although summer hasn't officially begun, it's hot enough to say it has. I'm looking forward to the water being warm enough in the pool for me to get in and start some laps. Swimming, in my opinion, is the best exercise around because you're working all of your muscles at once.
Last summer, and many summers before, I've only been able to get in for short periods of time because I've had homework to do as well. However, this summer I don't have anything to do but work! I'm looking forward to being in the pool all weekend just relaxing and losing weight.
I love swimming but I don't like the hunger pangs that accompany it. I'm going to have to make sure I have fruits and veggies ready for me when I get hungry. I'm thinking lunches this summer must include lots of protein!
