School is officially over (hot diggity damn!) and I've already found myself with an abundance of free time. In preparation for this, I went out last weekend and bought some yarn and some jewelry making supplies. It's time to get crafty with my bad self! I've already made 2 bracelets, a pair of earrings, and a cowl scarf. I've been busy!

Time to state the obvious - it's Monday. That means it's another day for me to weigh in. While I didn't see the biggest loss on the scale today, I did see a loss! I've been weighing in every day so I can keep on top of things. I'm thrilled to report that I've seen a loss every day. Do you know what that means? It means I made the scale my bitch!

I have 2 weeks left of class and it's officially all over! After 8 long, hard, stressful years, it's come down to these last 2 weeks. I'm proud of what I've accomplished and I hope I've taught my boys a valuable lesson - you're never too old to go back to school. I'm in a place of panic right now because I don't know what's next.

When you think of shedding pounds, do you think of the fat literally falling off? I do. I imagine fat falling off like hair during a hair cut. But, as we all know, it doesn't happen like that. So, if you're losing weight, where does it go?

Swimming

Although summer hasn't officially begun, it's hot enough to say it has. I'm looking forward to the water being warm enough in the pool for me to get in and start some laps. Swimming, in my opinion, is the best exercise around because you're working all of your muscles at once.

Although today is Monday, it's been a fabulous day! I had a great talk with a wonderful friend this morning and I lost more weight! I feel like I can take on the world! The best part of all of this is that I'm doing it myself. This time, there's no diet pills, supplements, or shakes included.

Almost to Goal!

I've been watching what I eat and working out for a while now and it's starting to pay off. My goal was to lose 20 pounds by July 26 (next doctor appt) and I'm almost there! So far, I've lost 13.6 pounds and it's only June 2! That means I have 53 days to lose roughly 7 pounds. If I can't lose 7 pounds in almost 2 months, something's wrong with me.
